Oklahoma and Oklahoma State go back to the first decade of the 1900s. The two state schools have played 114 times and have yet to do what is going to happen on Saturday night.
The Sooners first hosted a night game against Colorado in 1988. Since, Oklahoma has played host to many big, primetime matchups like Texas Tech in 2008, Notre Dame in 2012 and TCU in 2017. None of those have included Oklahoma State.
Until 2020, of course.
It was announced last week that Bedlam will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT. This will be the first Oklahoma-Oklahoma State game to kick off in primetime in Norman, Oklahoma, ever.
The 2012 and 2014 games at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium ended late due to overtimes, but those kicked off during the afternoon. The 2018 game did, too. Oklahoma State has hosted night Bedlam games in 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2019 in recent past.
This year's #Bedlam football game will be the ninth at night but first in Norman. Stillwater has hosted seven Bedlam night contests (1985, '98, '08, '10, '11, '15, '19) and OKC one (1943 at Taft Stadium; first night game in OU history). h/t @MBrooks02

The winner of Bedlam will be in a clear path to making the 2020 Big 12 Championship game. The game will be broadcasted on ABC.
