Oh yes! Yes, yes, yes.
What, no! No, no, no, no.
A lot of people probably had that reaction when Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb burst off an incredible and then incredibly disappointing 59-yard run near the end of the Cleveland Browns’ 10-7 win over the Houston Texans in Week 10. Chubb made the big play in the closing moments of the game, but rather than run in for an easy touchdown, he decided to run out of bounds at the 1-yard line. His team then ran out the clock by kneeing the ball. It’s debatable whether that’s the right strategical decision. But it worked for the Browns.
It did not work for the bettors who took the Browns at -3.5. And it did not work for everyone who started Chubb in fantasy football. There were plenty of sad and angry folks on Twitter after seeing the play.
Nick Chubb just broke all of his fantasy managers’ hearts 🤣

Wait, did Nick Chubb go down at the 1, not getting the fantasy points AND not covering the spread?
Browns were -3.5 and they're gonna win by 3 because Chubb went down at the 1-yard line

Nick Chubb busts a 59-yard rush but goes out of bounds intentionally at the 1 to ice the win.
Spread: Browns -3.5

Browns RB Nick Chubb just ripped off a MASSIVE run for 59 yards and then with no defenders anywhere near him…stepped out of bounds because Houston had no timeouts left and the game would be over.
The Browns, who were 3.5-point favorites, win 10-7.
