Chris Hubbard tested positive for COVID-19, placed on reserve list

The Browns facility has reopened

We now know the identity of the Cleveland Browns player who tested positive for COVID-19.

Reserve offensive lineman Chris Hubbard tested positive, per numerous reports.

The Browns will make it official by placing Hubbard  on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. He will miss at least this Sunday’s home date with the Houston Texans and perhaps much longer, depending on the virulence of the infection.

Earlier on Friday, news of the positive test forced the Browns to close the team facilities in Berea and hold practice and team meetings remotely. All players have since been cleared to return to the facility and the game with the Texans remains on schedule.
