Friday is here, which means tomorrow we get to watch our beloved Florida Gators take the field against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the cozy confines of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Now in the driver’s seat in the SEC East, all the Gators need to do is win these last games that they are expected to win.
Meanwhile, there is a bit of action outside of The Swamp for Florida athletics, starting with the fourth-ranked volleyball team’s first defeat of the season at the South Carolina Gamecocks. It was a tightly-contested five-set match that the Gators just fell short in.
The men’s swimming and diving team completed its first day of the 2020 Toyota U.S. Open, the results of which can be found here. Competition continues through tomorrow.
Today, the soccer team kicks off the SEC Tournament against the Kentucky Wildcats in Orange Beach, Ala. Florida enters the tournament as the 13th seed out of 14 total teams and the game is scheduled for a late 9:30 p.m. EST start.
