KNOXVILLE — Tennessee (2-4, 2-4 SEC) will look to end a four-game losing streak against Texas A&M Saturday at Neyland Stadium (3:30 p.m. EST, ESPN).
In a 24-13 defeat at Arkansas last week, redshirt senior quarterback Jarrett Guarantano left the Vols’ game at Arkansas with a head injury.
Third-year Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt kicked off game week Monday in preparation for Texas A&M.
Pruitt provided an update on Guarantano ahead of the contest, saying he is “day-to-day.”
“Our medical staff didn’t feel like it was in his best interest to play the rest of the game, so we held him out,” Pruitt said of Guarantano. “It’ll be day-to-day this week. We’ll work the other guys and see how we develop this week. We’ll work a good game-plan that fits all of those guys.”
