The Cleveland Browns (5-3) host the Houston Texans (2-6) in Week 10 Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in FirstEnergy Stadium. Here’s a look at the early betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.
Houston held off a QB Jake Luton-led Jacksonville Jaguars to win 27-25, coming out of its bye in Week 9. QB Deshaun Watson did just enough for the Texans to win—completing 19 of 32 passes for 281 yards with two touchdowns, and rushing for 50 yards. Both of Houston’s wins this season came against the now 1-7 Jaguars.
Houston’s betting records:
- Against the spread: 1-7 ATS
- Over/Under: 5-3 O/U
QB Baker Mayfield’s game status is up in the air after he tested positive for COVID-19 during Cleveland’s bye week. Heading into its bye, Cleveland lost 16-6 to the Las Vegas Raiders in a game completely dominated by windy weather conditions.
The Browns have been led by their rushing attack, which is fifth in both total yards and yards per rush. As of its halfway point, Cleveland would technically be the eighth-seed in the AFC, but it does have the same record as the second and third wild card teams (Raiders and Miami Dolphins) and the Indianapolis Colts.
Cleveland’s betting records:
- Against the spread: 3-5 ATS
- Over/Under: 5-3 O/U
