A closer-than-anticipated game for the Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers ended in a Week 9 33-31 win for the good guys. It was an aggressive game plan from Panthers HC Matt Rhule, keeping his team alive and squarely in the game throughout. On the other side, the Chiefs have some work to do and it feels like the bye week couldn’t come at a better time. Ultimately, it came down to a 68-yard field goal try by Carolina kicker Joey Slye, but he couldn’t break the NFL record.
