The Los Angeles Chargers are set to face off against the Las Vegas Raiders in an AFC West duel on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2:05 p.m. PT at SoFi Stadium.
The Chargers are looking to get back on track after dropping a contest in which they led by 21 points last Sunday. For the Raiders, they are eager to build off of their victory over the Browns and stay close to the Chiefs for the division.
L.A. continues to be led by the dominance of quarterback Justin Herbert. Facing a suspect Raiders defense, Herbert and company should have plenty of opportunities to have success.
However, the defense needs to do their job of playing consistent through all four quarters to back him up, which they have struggled to do, against a Las Vegas offense that has seen an average of 61.3 total points in their first six games.
Given the fact that there’s a lot on the line in terms of job security for both soon-to-be free agents and coaches, I see the Bolts finding a way to close this one out with a victory, snapping their divisional losing streak which dates back to 2018.
Of course, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it end in typical Charger fashion. But I feel confident that Los Angeles scraps their way to a win by the score of 30-27.
