The Arizona Cardinals were back at practice on Thursday to prepare for the Miami Dolphins and released their second injury report of the week. Three players were upgraded, but two players still sat out.
Running back Kenyan Drake, dealing with an ankle injury, sat out for the second day in a row. He is not expected to play this weekend. Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, dealing with a thigh injury, also sat out for the second day in a row. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said on Thursday Kirkpatrick was feeling good, though.
However, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury, was upgraded on Thursday. After missing Wednesday’s practice, he was limited on Thursday. Linebackers Jordan Hicks (ankle, wrist) and Zeke Turner (toe) were limited for the second day in a row.
Receivers Larry Fitzgerald and DeAndre Hopkins, who were given time off for rest on Wednesday, were full participants on Thursday, as was safety Budda Baker, who is still recovering from thumb surgery.
