The results of the presidential election has received the majority of the headlines over the past few days and while LeBron James has been vocal in his support for Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris, tragedy struck those close to James over the weekend and James took to social media to ask for justice and information regarding the loss of a close friend’s relative.
Ericka Weems, 37, was killed in her home, according to LeBron James. Weems is the sister of one of LeBron’s childhood friends, Brandon Weems. Weems is currently the Director of Scouting for the Cleveland Cavaliers. James, and later Weems, both called for justice and information in Ericka’s death.
