The Tennessee Titans’ Week 8 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals was a result of all-around failure on both sides of the ball, as the offensive was sluggish and the defense once again failed to do its job.
After scoring 30 points or more in four straight games, including two contests with 40-plus points, the Titans are averaging 22 points per game in their last two, which simply isn’t enough with how poorly the defense has played.
And speaking of that defense: Tennessee’s unit has now surrendered 30 points or more in four of seven games in 2020.
