The Bulldogs will be without several key players on defense for this year’s World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party Florida-Georgia game.

According to a report from Dawgs247, junior nose tackle Jordan Davis will miss several weeks with an elbow injury, while fifth-year defensive end Julian Rochester will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

Additionally, safety Richard LeCounte was injured in a traffic accident on Saturday night and will miss several weeks.

Davis, a preseason First Team All-SEC selection, has managed just 13 tackles so far on the season. Rochester has seen limited action this season and just has six tackles, but he has 103 on his Georgia career.

LeCounte, meanwhile, is one of the nation’s elite defensive backs. He has 26 tackles on the season, with 13 coming against Kentucky the day of his accident.

The Bulldogs possess one of the top defenses in college football, but it’s an inopportune time to be dealing with injuries on that side of the ball with a high-powered Gators offense up next.
