Even though outspoken Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter can’t vote in the United States until he gets his citizenship, he wants to make sure you do in the coming election.
And he’s not alone — teammates Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Jayson tatum and Kemba Walker put together a short clip encouraging fans to cast their vote on Election Day this November 3rd.
The Turkish center went the extra mile with several other posts on social media, including one on his Instagram exhorting fans to do their civic duty and head to the polls.
“Hey, what’s up everybody?” began the ever-gregarious Celtic activist.

“This is Enes Kanter from the Boston Celtics, and I just wanted to say help us keep the momentum going — and remember the 3rd of November. Please, go vote.”

Not content to leave things there, Kanter even followed up on Twitter later, asking if we’d voted yet, just in case you happened to get distracted by a world outdoing itself with things to be distracted by.
So!
Have you voted yet?— Enes Kanter (@EnesKanter) November 1, 2020
