Oklahoma is welcoming back the long-awaited return of star defensive end Ronnie Perkins. The Sooners will get him back tonight, but will be down another starter.
LaRon Stokes has been a key starter for Oklahoma for much of the last two seasons. According to a report from Oklahoma radio analyst Gabe Ikard, Stokes is not dressed out during warmups.

He has made eight tackles on the year, which includes 2.5 tackles for loss.
Behind Stokes is junior college transfer Joshua Ellison. Starting defensive end Isaiah Thomas started at defensive tackle for the Missouri State game and nose tackle Kori Roberson can also slide out to play the position.
Oklahoma will also be without starting safety Delarrin Turner-Yell and starting wide receiver Charleston Rambo.
There has not been a reason from Oklahoma stated for the absence of the three Sooners.
Oklahoma and Texas Tech are slated to kickoff at 7 p.m. CT.
