The Cincinnati Bengals will be down some major names in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans.
Perhaps most notably, the Bengals won’t have star running back Joe Mixon for the second straight game.
And along the offensive line, starters Jonah Williams, Trey Hopkins and Bobby Hart won’t be able to give it a go after suffering injuries during last week’s loss to Cleveland.
Here’s a look at the notable statuses on the injury report:
- Joe Mixon (Out)
- Jonah Williams (Out)
- Trey Hopkins (Out)
- Bobby Hart (Out)
- John Ross (Doubtful)
- Darius Phillips (Questionable)
This means the Bengals will throw Fred Johnson at one of the tackle spots and rookie Hakeem Adeniji at the other. Billy Price should get the nod at center while Giovani Bernard serves as the lead back.
With the Bengals on a bye in Week 9, it makes sense the team would take a precautionary note with critical players — but paints a very sour outlook for the game against a contender like the Titans.
Speaking of the Titans, we’ll update below with their notables from the injury report:
