Everyone loves a good rivalry between two iconic players, and when it comes to professional football it does not get much better than Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
The two famously went head-to-head many times when Manning was still playing for the Colts and Broncos. The rivalry has been sustained after Manning’s retirement. Their relationship is a playful one with respect between the two, but that did not prevent Manning from taking a hilarious shot at Brady in an episode of NFL Films’ “Detail”.
Manning breaks down NFL quarterbacks in the show, and in this particular episode he looked closely at Brady’s performance against the Green Bay Packers this season.
In the episode, Manning looks at a completion to Rob Gronkowski, and accuses Brady of accidentally completing it to his tight end, while it was actually intended for wide receiver Mike Evans.
Nothing gets by Peyton, especially when it comes to @TomBrady getting a little too much credit. 😂#DETAIL: https://t.co/wZvh0BpmZO pic.twitter.com/IVe2Ad4ISB

It looked like a beautifully-placed ball by the Buccaneers signal-caller, but the former Tennessee quarterback creatively believes it to be otherwise.
Even after Brady retires, the two legends will hopefully continue their friendly rivalry.
