The Raiders haven’t used Henry Ruggs III a ton this season as he has just eight receptions on the year. However, whenever he’s been targeted, he’s been effective and explosive.
Ruggs is currently averaging a whopping 26.5 yards per reception this season, albeit on 14 targets. But his combination of speed, quickness and ball skills have already made him one of the league’s most dynamic receivers.
Below is every reception by the team’s first-round pick to start the season. As you can see, the Raiders have to find a way to get the ball into Ruggs’ hands earlier and often.

In fairness to the Raiders, Ruggs hasn’t been entirely healthy this season as he has missed a few games due to a lower-body injury. But now that he is back into the lineup and not on the injury report, the Raiders have to find a way to get him five to six touches per week.
Look for Ruggs to be more involved in the offense going forward and to continue to create explosive plays for this team.
