Four-time All-Pro WR Antonio Brown officially signed a 1-year, $1.67-million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tuesday after the first reports broke late last week. The news has helped further solidify the Bucs as Super Bowl LV betting favorites while sitting atop the NFC South at 5-2. SportsbookWire.com obtained betting data from BetMGM to look at how the Bucs’ Super Bowl odds have changed and available player props and futures for Antonio Brown in 2020.
The seven-time Pro Bowler played just one game with the New England Patriots in 2019 after moving on from the Pittsburgh Steelers (and Oakland Raiders). He caught 104 of 168 targets for 1,297 yards and a league-high 15 touchdowns in 15 games in his last full NFL season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV odds
All odds courtesy of BetMGM.
The Buccaneers were +1100 to win the Super Bowl last week when a $100 futures bet would have returned a profit of $1,100 with a Lombardi Trophy in February.
Those odds dropped to +900 with the first reports of Brown’s signing. They dropped even further to +750 following the Bucs’ convincing 45-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. The same $100 bet on the Buccaneers to win would now fetch a profit of just $750 with a Super Bowl win in February.
Only the Kansas City Chiefs (+400) and Baltimore Ravens (+600) are more heavily-favored to win the Super Bowl.
Tampa Bay is BetMGM‘s biggest liability to win Super Bowl LV. This means a win by the Bucs would result in the lowest net profit for the sportsbook.
