The Indianapolis Colts have gotten through their bye week and will now look to make a run during the second half of the regular season.
How did the rest of the division do while the Colts were at home resting up for their Week 8 matchup?
Titans were defeated by the Steelers
In what turned out to be a nail-biter, the Titans weren’t able to keep their undefeated record. The Steelers came away with a home victory, 27-24, against the Titans thanks to a big day from Juju Smith-Schuster (9-85) and Diontae Johnson (9-80-2). The Titans fell to 5-1, a game up on the Colts in first place.
Texans were dropped by the Packers
This turned out to be a complete day from Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. The duo hooked up for 13 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns while Rodgers threw four passing touchdowns on the day and finished with a 132.4 passer rating in the 35-20 win.
Jaguars lost to the Chargers
On the road, the Jaguars fell early and couldn’t muster enough of a comeback to grab the win. Rookie QB Justin Herbert had a huge day that included 347 yards, three passing touchdowns, 68 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. The Jaguars have now lost six games in a row since beating the Colts in Week 1.
