You love to see a player standing up in the locker room and making a speech that gets the rest of the team going. Even more so, you love to see a second-year player who has established himself as one of the best young receivers in the league stand up and give credit where credit is due.
That’s what happened after Washington’s 25-3 win over the Dallas Cowboys, when WR Terry McLaurin stepped up after the game and gave an impassioned speech to his teammates, giving them credit for the great performance and blowout victory, yet still preached accountability and a need to keep moving forward for a team that is right in the thick of things in the NFC East.
Washington may not be the best team in their division, but they absolutely have heart, and a great young core of guys to ride going forward.
