The 49ers opened the scoring at Gillette Stadium with a nine-play, 75-yard touchdown drive on the game’s first possession. Deebo Samuel was key on the drive with two catches for 37 yards, but it was Jeff Wilson Jr. who finished it off. He bashed his way in from three yards out for his second rushing touchdown of the year to put the 49ers up 7-0 over the Patriots.
