49ers inactives: Trent Williams, Jeff Wilson Jr. will play vs. Patriots

The 49ers will have their starting left tackle and a full backfield in Week 7 vs. the Patriots.

The 49ers on Sunday will have left tackle Trent Williams and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. in the lineup against the New England Patriots after both were listed as questionable on the Week 7 status report.

Williams hurt his ankle in Week 6 and was limited on Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday’s practice. Wilson missed last week with a calf injury and was limited all week while nursing that.

A good indication that Wilson was going to be okay was San Francisco not elevating running back Austin Walter from the practice squad. The 49ers only have Jerick McKinnon and JaMycal Hasty in the backfield with Raheem Mostert on Injured Reserve, so they’d need a third option.

Here’s the 49ers’ list of inactives for Sunday:

QB CJ Beathard
FS Jimmie Ward
SS Jaquiski Tartt
LB Kwon Alexander
WR Dante Pettis
CB Parnell Motley
