After weeks of investigations by the NFL and the NFL Players Association, the league finally came down with its ruling on the Titans violating COVID-19 procedures.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Tennessee was handed down a whopping $350,000 fine. (Whopping as in, not whopping).
The Titans’ violations of the COVID-19 protocols included not following distancing and mask regulations and miscommunication on outside workouts,
Sounds like chump change considering the bedlam that ensued because the team did not follow the strict guidelines set forth by the league. There was talk that fines of historic proportions would be given including forfeits, lost draft picks or individual discipline.
Because of the Titans’ lack of common sense, courtesy, and failing to adhere protocols, the Steelers had their bye week moved up by four weeks and are in the midst of 13 straight regular season games.
Imagine punishing someone for getting sick during a pandemic
