After last week saw Notre Dame’s football team remarkably have zero positive COVID-19 tests just two weeks after having to postpone their game against Wake Forest because of an outbreak, the Irish test results are in for this last week and one came back positive.
That player was not named as players have not been named publicly all season long, but one other player was also noted as being in quarantine for being a close contact.

Again, no word on either of the players but it’s safe to say that neither will be available when No. 3 Notre Dame travels to take on Pitt this weekend.
