Deshazor Everett will start in place of Troy Apke at safety for Washington today.

At long last, it seems that Washington fans are getting their wish, with free safety Troy Apke getting replaced in the starting lineup for FS Deshazor Everett.
This was reported before kickoff by NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay, who confirmed that it would the Everett who will be taking over as the starter. In the past couple of weeks, Ron Rivera and other coaches have said that they are looking for certain combinations of players that work well together on the defense, and it’s not a shock to see that Apke has been replaced.
Though he won the starting job in training camp, Apke has struggled mightily so far this season, and it’s time to see if someone else can provide more support in the passing game.
