With all the positivity surrounding the Raiders injury situation, you kinda figured there would be some bad news in there somewhere. That came today with the news that defensive end Carl Nassib suffered a broken toe in the win over the Chiefs Sunday, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
#Raiders veteran DE Carl Nassib suffered a broken big toe in Sunday's win over the #Chiefs, sources say. Unclear at this point how much time he'll miss.

Unlike a broken finger or something like that, Nassib can’t just put it in a cast and play with a club. This injury would figure to send him to IR which would have him out at least three weeks. And broken bones typically take much longer than that to heal.
Nassib left the game last week in the second quarter after just five snaps and didn’t return. With him out, Arden Key saw additional snaps. That will be the case while he’s out with his broken toe.
