The Baltimore Ravens are getting the better of Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow early in Week 5. They’ve been in the backfield often and on this particular play, it resulted in Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters coming down with a big interception deep in Bengals’ territory.
Lamar Jackson would quickly turn the takeaway into points connecting with Marquise Brown for the touchdown at the goal line. Peters’ interception makes it 18-straight games the Ravens defense has forced a turnover, which is currently the longest streak in the NFL.
Baltimore’s secondary is once again making a statement against opposing passing attacks. Burrow is coming off 300-plus yard performances in his last three games. So far after the first quarter, his top two receivers in AJ Green and Tyler Boyd are still both without catches. The Ravens cornerback duo of Peters and Humphrey is once again dominating in this divisional matchup.
