The Eagles have talked about Miles Sanders as a workhorse running back and early in the Birds matchup with the Steelers, the Pittsburgh native put his homerun ability on full display, ripping off a 74-yard touchdown to tie the score up 7-7.
The 74-yard scamper is the longest rushing TD by an Eagle since Brian Mitchell’s 85-yard score on 10/1/00 vs. the Atlanta Falcons.
