Coaches across the country, in both college and NFL football, have been struggling with sideline mask mandates. Several NFL coaches faced hefty fines earlier in the season for failing to wear masks, and the NFL has warned that coaches could be flagged this weekend for talking to referees without masks.

Tennessee Volunteers football coach Jeremy Pruitt, to his credit, wore a beck gaiter on Saturday for the Vols’ game against Georgia – but the way he wore it caused him to go viral on Twitter. Pruitt was repeatedly shown during the game with the entirety of his head covered by the gaiter, except for his mouth and nose. You know, the important parts.

Pruitt did the same thing last week, but mostly flew under the radar.
