Titans give updates on Adoree’ Jackson, A.J. Brown, COVID-19 list players

Titans 2020 first-round pick and OT Isaiah Wilson will be activated off the COVID-19 list.

The Tennessee Titans could be without two key players due to injury in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills in cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and wide receiver A.J. Brown. The status of the former has now been revealed.

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel spoke to the media on Saturday afternoon and revealed that Jackson, who has been on Injured Reserve since before the season started with a knee injury, will not suit up in Week 5.

As for Brown, who is also dealing with a knee injury and has missed the last two games, his status has yet to be determined for Tuesday. The second-year wideout has been listed as limited on each of the team’s last two estimated injury reports.

Among the players who could potentially be out in Week 5 are the 10 players from the 53-man roster who have been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list since September 29.

Vrabel said some of the players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list are going through testing protocols and could be available on Tuesday.

One player he mentioned by name was long snapper Beau Brinkley. Vrabel also said that the Titans have some potential replacements for Brinkley going through protocols just in case he can’t suit up.

2020 first-round pick and offensive tackle, Isaiah Wilson, who has been on the Reserve/COVID-19 list the longest (September 6) will be activated off the list on Saturday and can return to practice.
