LSU Athletics released a statement on Hurricane Delta, which is expected to hit ahead of the Saturday night matchup in Tiger Stadium, this week.
“We are closely monitoring Hurricane Delta and are in close communication with SEC and University of Missouri Athletics officials on contingency plans should they become necessary,” the statement read. “At this time, it is too early to make a determination on any impact the storm may have on Saturday’s football game against Missouri. The game remains scheduled for 8pm CT on Saturday in Tiger Stadium. We will continue to update our fans throughout the week as more information becomes available.”

Other SEC games could possibly be impacted as the hurricane is expected to move through Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and possibly part of Georgia.
If all goes as planned, LSU will look to build a two-game winning streak and move to a 2-1 overall record as the Tigers take on Missouri this weekend.
