Jalen Ramsey isn’t known for his blitzing prowess and rarely gets the opportunity to rush the quarterback. But on Sunday against the Giants, Brandon Staley sent him at Daniel Jones off the edge, blitzing from his slot position.
It was a perfectly drawn up play and resulted in a sack as Ramsey and Ogbonnia Okoronkwo met at the quarterback. It was Ramsey who was credited with the sack, which was surprisingly the first of his NFL career.
There was nothing the Giants could do about it, leaving Jones as a sitting duck in the pocket waiting to be hit.

This was the Rams’ third sack of the game, but Michael Brockers made it four on the very next play. The pass rush was dominating early in this one, getting to Jones quickly from all angles.
