Lakers to wear Black Mamba jerseys in Game 2 of NBA Finals vs. Heat

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will continue to honor Kobe Bryant with the ‘Black Mamba’ uniforms in Game 2.

As the Los Angeles Lakers look to take one step closer to the franchise’s 17th championship and the first for the franchise in 10 seasons, they will once again honor a key figure lost in their journey here and one of the most iconic players in the history of the Lakers. The Lakers are once again wearing the Black Mamba uniforms in tonight’s Game 2, which they have worn in the previous three rounds of the playoffs, most recently in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals when Anthony Davis hit a buzzer-beater to win the game and yelled out “KOBE!” after making the shot.

The Lakers have yet to lose in the Black Mamba City Edition jerseys so far in these playoffs, going 3-0. The odds are in their favor to go 4-0 in the Mamba jerseys as two key Heat players, Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, are considered doubtful to play in Game 2.
