The Green Bay Packers (3-0) head home in Week 4 for a Monday night showdown with the winless Atlanta Falcons (0-3). This will be the second Monday night meeting between the two clubs in Green Bay. The Packers have won six of their last seven games on Monday Night Football, including a 43-37 home win over the Falcons in 2014.
While Green Bay is off to a sizzling start, Atlanta and Dan Quinn, it’s defensive-minded coach, are in dire straights. Quinn’s team has blown leads of 29-10 against the Cowboys and 26-10 against the Bears in the previous two games. The Falcons’ defense is ranked dead last in points and 31st in yards allowed. Signs point to another high scoring game for the Packers on Monday night.
The Packers follow up with this game with a bye in Week 5. The team will travel to Tampa Bay in Week 6 to face Tom Brady and the Buccanneers (2-1).
ESPN will broadcast the game before a nationally televised audience. Steve Levy (play-by-play) will be joined by analysts Louis Riddick and Brian Griese in the booth with Lisa Salters reporting from the sidelines. John Parry will be on hand for officiating analysis.
The game can be heard over Milwaukee’s WTMJ (620 AM) and the Packers Radio Network, which is made up of 50 stations in five states. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and Larry McCarren (analyst) will call the action over the air with former Packer John Kuhn reporting from the sidelines. The matchup will also be broadcasted by Westwood One Sports and the WTMJ feed of Sirius Satellite Radio.
