The Champions League group stage draw was held on Thursday, and it delivered a Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi matchup as Juventus and Barcelona were drawn into the same group.
The “Group of Death” may be Group H, which features Manchester United, PSG and RB Leipzig, but there are several tough groups loaded with talented clubs. Real Madrid also received a tough draw, and even 2019 champions Liverpool will have to deal with two solid teams in Ajax and Atalanta.
The first group stage games will be played on October 20th and 21st. The group stage will conclude with the final match days on December 8th and 9th, and the Round of 16 draw will be held the following week on December 14th.
