LeBron James has never been this heavy of a favorite in an NBA Finals series. Part of that might be because he is on the most popular team in the league, the Los Angeles Lakers, who are looking to tie the Boston Celtics for the most championships in NBA history, but the other part of course is they are going against a team very few expected to be here in the Miami Heat.
But even if you tell the odds to Jimmy Butler, he doesn’t see the Heat as underdogs and thinks they are the best chance anyone has of knocking off LeBron James, who has knocked him out of the postseason three times before.
Jimmy Butler says of going up against LeBron James, "It's not going to be an easy task these next couple of games. But if anyone is up to the task, it is the Miami Heat."

Butler’s belief in what the Heat can do together has been consistent all year. That belief has been strengthened in the bubble as they have been arguably the best team in the bubble, alongside the Lakers. The Heat have gone an incredible 12-3 so far, matching the same record for the Lakers, through the first three rounds of the playoffs. While there will be a lot of focus on individual defenders taking the challenge of guarding James, the job of guarding both James and Davis will require five players, not just two.
