Broncos at Jets game notes
- The Broncos started QB Jeff Driskel in Week 3, but he was pulled in the fourth quarter of the 28-10 loss in favor of practice squad call-up QB Brett Rypien. The team also has QB Blake Bortles on the roster, signed Thursday when QB Drew Lock (shoulder) went down. Head coach Vic Fangio ruled out a Bortles sighting for Week 4.
- The Jets were drummed in Indianapolis Sunday, 36-7, and QB Sam Darnold threw two pick-six interceptions in the beating.
- New York ranks dead-last in the NFL with 263.7 total yards and 12.3 points per game. They’re 31st with 175.3 passing yards per game.
- The Jets have scored three total points this season in the second quarter. The Broncos are averaging 8.3 second-half points per game.
- New York is last in the NFL in red zone efficiency (TD only) at 33.33 percent, while Denver is tied for fourth-worst in the league with a 44.44 percent mark (TD only).

Broncos at Jets: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction
Prediction
Jets 19, Broncos 16
Money line (?)
The JETS (+120) are worth playing at home, as the Broncos (-143) quarterback situation is a mess. Both Driskel and Rypien might see action again, and this game might have the look of the preseason for them. While Darnold did have some tremendously costly miscues last week, he can put together an NFL-caliber performance occasionally.
Against the spread (?)
JETS (+2.5, -110) is the way to go if you’re not feeling them straight up, although there isn’t a ton of difference except for the juice. The play is the Jets plus the points, but the money line is the better value. You will be going against the grain a little, as the Jets are 0-3 ATS while the Broncos are 2-1 ATS.
Over/Under (?)
It’s no surprise that this is the lowest total on the board for Week 4. UNDER 39.5 (-110) is still the way to go. Denver was part of the lowest total on the board last week, too, and they fell to Tampa Bay 28-10 to hit the Under by four points. The Jets hit the Under last week for the first time in three games, while the under is 2-1 for the Broncos.
