Tennessee is looking to get in early on 2022 defensive prospects, including defensive tackle Tre Emory from Mount Pleasant, Texas.
The Vols extended a scholarship offer to Emory, and is one of the very few schools to have already done so.
Blessed to say I have received my first SEC offer from the University Of Tennessee! @RitchiePinckard @BuckFitz @Vol_Football @Ashley16771703 pic.twitter.com/noMRMK6qJT

Emory is a 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive tackle that is only a junior at Mount Pleasant High School, and is rated a 3-star prospect by 247Sports. Emory is also rated the No. 53 defensive tackle in his class, and No. 120 prospect in Texas, although those numbers are likely to change as his recruiting cycle continues.
At the moment, UTSA is the only other scholarship offer posted to Emory’s profile. The Vols have just one prospect committed to the 2022 recruiting class, in 3-star defensive end Jimmy Scott.
