The Washington Football Team will be without their top offensive linemen when they pay their visit to FirstEnergy Stadium for Sunday’s meeting with the Cleveland Browns.
Washington placed starting right guard Brandon Scherff on injured reserve on Tuesday, ensuring the hard-nosed veteran will miss Sunday’s game in Cleveland. Scherff has made the Pro Bowl in three of the last four seasons, including a 2019 campaign that also saw him miss five games with injury.
Washington called up Cam Sims from its practice squad to fill the roster spot. Sims replaced Scherff after his injury in Washington’s 30-15 loss in Arizona on Sunday.
