Lakers look to build off of AD game-winner, earn 3-0 lead: How To Watch

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers were an Anthony Davis buzzer-beater away from being tied in the Western Conference Finals, but now L.A. is only two wins away from their first NBA Finals since 2010 and one win away from a 3-0 lead, which is something nobody has ever come back from in NBA history.

The game-winner by Anthony Davis also helped the Lakers and LeBron James avoid a news cycle about his second-half play, in which he was 2 for 9 from the field and in general, just didn’t have the impact he had in the first half of each of these games. His play in the first half has helped build leads, while Anthony Davis has been the team’s finishing kick in the second half.

As for the Nuggets, the key for them appears to be simply keeping their two stars on the floor as long as possible. Jamal Murray played 44 minutes and Nikola Jokic played 39 minutes. Don’t expect that to change, unless both players get in foul trouble, as they did in Game 1.
