It has been a tough road for Campbell since being drafted in the second round in 2019. He missed most of his rookie season dealing with four separate injuries and three surgeries.
The injury didn’t look good for Campbell as he took a carry for seven yards but Vikings safety Harrison Smith made contact with Campbell’s left knee as it was planted in the ground. He immediately clutched his leg and had to be carted off.
It isn’t clear how severe the injury is, but the Colts may have to be prepared to be without Campbell for a while.
