It seems the Pittsburgh Steelers have chosen to forgo the unified message on the back of their helmets in exchange for personal expression. In looking over the players, several players have changed the names on the back of their helmets from Antwon Rose Jr. while others have just chosen to leave their helmets blank.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went a different direction completely. Instead of a name at all, Roethlisberger opted for “it takes all of us” as his statement of unity.
