Ex-LSU quarterback Joe Burrow didn’t get the outcome he wanted yet again in his second NFL game, as the Cincinnati Bengals recorded a 35-30 loss to the Cleveland Browns, but he’s got the approval of many — including Los Angeles Lakers standout LeBron James.
“Burrow is SPECIAL!,” James tweeted. “He has the ‘IT’ for sure.”
James himself is an Ohio native and a Browns fan, so he was pleased with the chemistry between quarterback Baker Mayfield and former LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., of course.
Burrow was 37-of-61 passing for for 361 yards with three touchdowns. That total number of passing attempts in the most by a rookie quarterback since 2001.

He also becomes the first rookie since 1950 with 60 or more pass attempts and zero interceptions in a single game.
