Oklahoma football is giving the world a unique look behind the scenes of playing football in a pandemic.

COVID-19 has ravaged any and all normality to a college football season. The Sooners have team meetings on the turf inside their workout facility in order to accommodate social distancing. They are tested three times a week. Oklahoma was missing over 30 players for its first game due to positive tests and contact tracing.

It’s all, just, different.

The Sooners did play football, though.

Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione made an appearance in the first episode as well as athletic trainer Chris Watson. The Sooners have voice-overs from players like Spencer Rattler and include portions of interviews from Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch.

The final phases of the video include the pregame speech from Riley and highlights from the game. Watch it here:

Oklahoma will return to action on Sept. 26 when it kicks off Big 12 play by hosting Kansas State at 11 a.m. on FOX.
