Marcus Smart has evidently had enough.
After his Boston Celtics laid an egg in the second half of their Game 2 loss of their East Finals series, the passionate veteran could be heard screaming angrily from the locker room, loud clanking noises sounding as if things are being thrown.
And it’s understandable why the Texan defensive specialist lost his cool in such a volcanic way with his team seemingly with the game in hand only to see lackluster effort and play in the second half wrest another win from their hands.
Down two games to none, Boston has little margin for error going forward.
Marcus Smart is screaming in the #Celtics locker room and there is a bunch of arguing going on. Smart comes out say “y’all on that bullshit!” Team is imploding. Smart is in bathroom and there is still screaming coming from locker room.

“Guys were emotional after a hard game, hard loss,” said head coach Brad Stevens after the din died down and the postgame presser began, trying to minimize the uncharacteristic locker room behavior.
Kemba Walker similarly tried to minimize the eruption, saying “It was nothing — it was nothing.”
Asked if Boston might have a meeting to try and find a way to respond, he added, “of course; you do that after every game.”

But this clearly isn’t ‘every game’.
Even the usually even-keeled Stevens appeared a bit flustered, his players late to arrive at the podium and some serious issues clearly in need of working out ahead of Game 3 on Saturday.
That is, if they want to keep playing past Monday.
