The Philadelphia 76ers have been out of the bubble for almost a month now, but they still have their eyes on the NBA Playoffs. Specifically, whatever happens with the Miami Heat has been on the mind of a lot of their players.
Josh Richardson, who was acquired in a sign-and-trade with the Heat in exchange for Jimmy Butler, still has a lot of ties with his former team. Especially with All-Star big man Bam Adebayo who is one of his best friends in the league.
On Tuesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Adebayo came up huge when he blocked Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum at the rim to preserve a 117-114 overtime win. This came on the heels of Butler’s heroics as both guys had a hand in this win for Miami.

It was a huge play and one of the better blocks in the playoffs this season. Richardson was ecstatic for his friend and he could not hide his excitement on Twitter.

Now that Miami holds a 1-0 lead, they will be looking to take a 2-0 lead inside the bubble at Disney World. One thing is for sure, Richardson will be keeping his eye on Adebayo and the Heat. [lawrence-related id=37673,37670,37664]
