RHP Jack Flaherty vs. LHP Brett Anderson
Flaherty is 3-1 with a strong 3.08 ERA in six starts this season, striking out 27 batters in 26 1/3 innings.
- In Flaherty’s last start, he allowed just two runs in five innings, with six strikeouts in a 12-2 win vs. the Detroit Tigers Thursday.

Anderson owns a 4.64 ERA this season, going 2-3 with 21 strikeouts in seven starts (33 innings).
- Anderson is winless in two career starts against the Cardinals but has a 2.63 ERA in those outings.

Prediction
Cardinals 5, Brewers 3
Money line (ML)
This is a tough game to pick, especially after they split the last two meetings with each being decided by one run. The CARDINALS (-150) are not overwhelming favorites, but still come in as the better team.
St. Louis is only 4-6 in its last 10 games, but it is 10-5 in its last 15 games against the Brewers (+135). Take the CARDINALS to win this one outright with the better pitcher on the mound.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)
Three of the Cardinals’ last four wins have been by at least two runs, though wins have been difficult to come by lately.
This will likely be a close one between the Cards and Brewers (+1.5, -125) for the third straight game, but I like the CARDINALS (-1.5, +105) to cover the spread and win by a couple of runs.
Over/Under (O/U)
The O/U is 8.5 with -110 odds on both sides. The total is fairly low compared to other games on Tuesday’s docket. The total has gone Under in each of the last two games between these teams, and in six of the Cardinals’ last seven road games. Take the UNDER 8.5.
