It’s easy to forget that Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell was a second-round pick in 2019.
After all, in his rookie season, Campbell finished with just 18 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown in seven games.
However, heading into 2020, Campbell was predicted by many to have a breakout season with Philip Rivers at the helm in Indianapolis.
In a Week 1 loss to the Jaguars, Campbell finished with six catches for a game-high 71 yards.
Campbell’s 72.3 Pro Football Focus grade ranked 24th in the league for receivers in Week 1.
If you watched the Vikings’ Week 1 loss to the Packers, you know that Minnesota’s pass defense needs some work.
If you’re considering playing Campbell in your fantasy football league, it’s probably not a horrible idea.
If you’re trying to be optimistic as a Vikings’ fan, it’s probably that Rivers is not Aaron Rodgers and Campbell is not Devante Adams. This should be more of an even matchup for Minnesota’s secondary.
