Titans’ Taylor Lewan suffers knee injury in 3rd quarter vs. Broncos

Taylor Lewan was grabbing his right knee after a Derrick Henry run.

Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan suffered a knee injury in the third quarter of the Week 1 contest against the Denver Broncos.

After a short gain by running back Derrick Henry, Lewan remained on the turf and was grabbing at his right knee. It isn’t clear how serious the injury is yet, but he was able to walk off under his own power.

The Titans will deploy backup tackle Ty Sambrailo in Lewan’s place.
