Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard said earlier in the week that the team would make a bold statement during the national anthem, and it seems they have done so.
While his team was standing locked arm-in-arm, head coach Frank Reich took a step forward and took a knee during the national anthem and was the only one doing so.

The Colts also released a statement about the powerful gesture on Sunday before the Week 1 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This was certainly a powerful message from the Colts as they continue their objective to make note of the social issues going on in the country.
